The news media is controlled by about six major corporations. They own the television networks, the cable channels, movie studios, magazines, newspapers, publishing houses, and music labels. They also own websites.

As previously stated here, we are heavily influenced by the images and phrases constantly being pumped into our minds. We watch hundreds of hours of television in a months time. People feel that they cannot go without watching television every day. Have you ever noticed that what we watch is called programming?

Who are these corporations that own the media? Walt Disney, Viacom, Time Warner, CBS Corporation and NBC Universal, and News Corp. Clear Channel owns more than 1000 radio stations in the US. And we all know the big names on the internet, Google, Yahoo, Microsoft.

Joel Stein is a columnist to the LA Times and a contributor to Time Magazine. He brags about Jewish people controlling the media.

He wrote an article in the LA Times 12-19-2008:

"Jews totally run Hollywood." He listed the following people as evidence, Fox News President Peter Chernin; Paramount Pictures Chairman Brad Grey; Walt Disney CEO Robert Igor; Sony Pictures Chairman Michael Lynton; Warner Brothers Chairman Barry Meyer; CBS CEO Leslie Moonves; MGM Chairman Harry Sloan; and NBC/Universal Studios CEO Jeff Zucker.

But I am not convinced that even they are the real power brokers. I believe they are being used by others who are more powerful, because they know they will be biased in their reporting, and also, because they know many people still hold prejudices against Jewish people. Jewish reporters are likely to report news on the Middle East with a slant towards Israel and away from Arab interests.

"...the J.P. Morgan [banking] interests.... and their subsidiary organizations got together 12 men high up in the newspaper world and employed them to select the most influential newspapers in the United States and sufficient number of them to control generally the policy of the daily press of the US.... They found it was only necessary to purchase the control of 25 of the greatest papers. ...an editor was furnished for each paper to properly supervise and edit information...."

In the Introduction to Censored [1996]: The News That Didn't Make the News-And Why, a 1996 book by Carl Jensen, Walter Cronkite wrote:

"'A handful of us determine what will be on the evening news broadcasts, or, for that matter, in the New York Times or Washington Post or Wall Street Journal.... Indeed it is a handful of us with this awesome power... a strongly editorial power.

"...we must deicide which news items out of hundreds available we are going to expose that day. And those [news stories] available to us already have been culled and re-culled by persons far outside our control.'"

"Carl Jensen's assessment of Adolph Hitler's philosophy of information control--

"More than half a century ago Hitler said the masses take a long time to understand and remember, thus it is necessary to repeat the message time and time and time again. The public must be conditioned to accept the claims that are made...no matter how outrageous or false those claims might be." Censored 1996.

David Rockefeller wrote in his Memoirs, "For more than a century ideological extremists at either end of the political spectrum have seized upon well-publicized incidents such as my encounter with Castro to attack the Rockefeller family for the inordinate influence they claim we wield over American political and economic institutions. Some even believe we are part of a secret cabal working against the best interests of the United States, characterizing my family and me as 'internationalists' and of conspiring with others around the world to build a more integrated global political and economic structure--one world, if you will. If that's the charge, I stand guilty, and I am proud of it."
